Our pastor
Pastor Andrew Harris
Pastor Harris became the Senior Pastor of Evansville Baptist Church in April of 2023. Pastor Harris grew up in a pastor's home. He, and his family, were missionaries to Canada for most of his growing up years. Through that time he learned about the ministry, and grew a love for God and others. In 2007, at a summer VBS, Pastor Harris surrendered his life to be a pastor one day.
In 2019 Pastor Harris left home to attend Hyles Anderson College in Crown Point, Indiana. This is where he met his wife Hannah (Strong). Pastor and Mrs. Harris dated in college, and were married in West Virginia on April 10, 2021. Since that time, God has moved them from West Virginia, to Arkansas, and now to Ohio. God has been so good, and has allowed many blessings in their lives.
One blessing in particular is their daughter, Natasha Grace. Natasha was born in September of 2022 during the Harris' time in Arkansas. Everett was born in October of 2024, and is another blessing to their family. God has blessed their family greatly, and we are blessed to have Pastor Harris on staff here.

Virginia Harris is our church secretary. The deacon board suggested her to fill this position in 2024, and she has been a wonderful addition to the staff of EBC!

Bro. Ray Riggleman is the Chairman of our Deacon board. Bro Riggleman has served the as a deacon in some capacity in various churches over the past 60 years.

Bro. Jesse Riggleman serves as the Chairman of our Trustee board. Bro Jesse works as an executive for multiple large medical equipment companies. His business mind helps us to be better stewards of what God has given us.
